Large Front Garden

This North London front garden has a dual purpose; it has to accommodate the movement of cars and people to and from the house, as well as providing a private area for the owners to relax in.

The raised bed has been planted with a modern cottage style-planting scheme, which brings colour to the garden throughout the summer months.

Due to the slope from the driveway to the lawn, a raised bed was constructed to overcome this level change. Access to the garden is now via a set of steps, which are positioned between the raised bed and the house.

A trellis fence (now covered in climbers) was built to screen and physically separate the driveway from the garden.
