Large Family Garden

This Buckinghamshire garden was designed to make the most of the large flat lawn for children's play, create areas within the garden for entertaining and to make the most of the hidden walkway at the bottom of the garden.

The existing patio was partially enclosed by raised beds with access onto the lawn through steps and brick paving between the raised beds.

The raised beds allowed for low planting to bring colour and interest to the terrace throughout the year.

An arbour was positioned amongst planting to create an attractive seating area and the large level lawn was kept so it could be used by the family for playing games. The Arbour was built using Oak timber. Beneath the Arbour was a patio made using Sandstone paving.
