The Plantswoman's garden |
This Buckinghamshire garden was designed to incorporate a wide variety of plants within large sweeping borders. |
The gardens orientation meant that the left hand side was in shade for most of the day while the right hand side was in the sun. |
The planting in the shady border concentrated on plant textures, forms and light colours such as white, cream, yellow and pink, while in the sunny border more vibrant colours were used. |
Interest was created to the bank adjacent to the patio through the creation of a small stream and pond. A wide set of steps were built to allow easy access from the raised terrace to the lawn. |
